At a busy time in my life, I decided to create a new homepage. I am currently trying to finish my PhD on the use of CAAD (Computer Aided Architectural Design). At the same time, we are expecting a third child and we have bought a home, finally. So new busy times are lying ahead of me.

I hope to create an album with my own compositions, in an eclectic style, ranging from acoustic pop-songs to experimental electro. The primary instrument will hopefully be the guitar, but it will be embedded in layers of loops and synthesizers, to create my own sound. My current favorite creation tool is Ableton Live, which is (almost) the perfect music creation tool. It's flexible and is highly non-linear.

In the past, I have created a home CD and while I still like some of the songs on that, it was never up to a level where I consider it distributable. I am considering placing some of these songs on this site, though. This blog should be a logbook of the creation process, from the concepts and the songwriting down to the technical recording details.
